WELCOME TO
St. Charles Memorial Gardens
A final resting place should be peaceful, beautiful, and somewhere that families can go to find solitude, reflect, and most of all, heal. St. Charles Memorial Gardens is exactly such a place. With many different burial and cremation options available, St. Charles Memorial Gardens offers the perfect setting to find closure and peace.
A request to our cemetery families
At St. Charles Memorial Gardens, we understand the importance of creating a meaningful and beautiful place to remember your loved ones. The decorations families choose are often a reflection of the special memories, relationships, and love they continue to hold.
Recently, we have noticed that many of the cemetery decoration guidelines have not been followed. As we complete our seasonal cleanup and work to keep our grounds beautiful, safe, and accessible for everyone, we kindly ask that all families help us by following the cemetery’s decoration rules moving forward.
To help us maintain a beautiful and safe environment, please remember:
- All decorations must be placed in the designated vase OR on a single shepherd’s hook with a maximum height of 37”, not both. If you have both, the shepherd’s hook must go in the vase.
- Decorations may not be placed directly on the ground, on the granite, or around the memorial.
- Please review the complete decoration guidelines at the link below for all requirements.
We know that these guidelines may sometimes feel restrictive, and we want you to know that they are not intended to limit the ways you honor your loved one. Rather, they help us maintain the beauty and dignity of the cemetery, allow our grounds team to safely care for the property, and ensure that every family has the same opportunity to maintain their loved one’s memorial. Decorations outside of what is allowed will be removed and discarded as we do not have the space to monitor or store them.
If you have questions about the decoration guidelines or are unsure whether something is permitted, please don't hesitate to contact our cemetery office at 636-946-9635. We are always happy to help.
