David Michael Scott

David Michael Scott of O’Fallon, Missouri, went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 27, 2025. David was born May 3, 1960 to the late James Herbert Scott and the late Louise Mary Scott, in Saint Louis, Missouri.

David was united in marriage to Carol June Bullock on March 29, 1980 at Florissant Assembly of God, Florissant, Missouri - a loving and devoted union of over 44 years.

David is survived by his beloved wife, Carol, of O’Fallon. He was the proud father of Andrew Michael (Joanne) Scott of Foristell and Stephanie June (Robert) Lutostanski of O’Fallon; loving grandfather to James Michael Scott and Dakota Lynn Patton; and Evelyn June, Adam Jonathan, Vivian Claire, William David, and Ethan Donald Lutostanski. He is also survived by his younger sisters, Arlene (Bobby) Hill, Elizabeth “Liz” Scott, Kathleen “Kathy” Scott, and Carol Ann Scott; and nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

David’s joy was spending time with his children and grandchildren. He attended Troy First Assembly of God church. His passion was working with the boys in Royal Rangers and being part of the Frontiersmen Camping Fellowship where he was known as “BigCat”. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting. His hobbies were making bowls and cups out of tree noggins and tinkering with tractors.

David was an advocate for organ/tissue donation and had donated a kidney to a family member in 1994. As representation of this passion, his final act of generosity has already brought healing and hope to others through tissue donation. At his request, his body was donated to science. His ashes are interred at St. Charles Memorial Gardens, St. Charles, Missouri.
